Get freedom in the line
Upcycling project with National theater.
Throwback to 2016 when The Twirl Timepiece was still in the creating process, we heard from National Theater & Concert Hall (NTCH) that after 30 years of use, they planned to renovate the stage floor of the performing hall. For KIMU, every object carries their own memories and meanings through the interactions with the users. So we decided to be up for the challenge, reusing the demolished materials in our product to preserve those precious memories and continue their life journeys.
Get freedom in the line
In the beginning of spring, KIMU gives our classic “The New Old Vase” a brand new look inspired by Ellsworth Kelly’s masterpiece, Colors for a Large Wall,1951.
